Our Club

Our club was founded in 2008.

Nordic walking is an enhancement of regular walking using specially
designed poles. See the heading “About Nordic Walking” for more detailed information.

Walking Information

Our walks take us on various trails around the beautiful Phoenix Park giving plenty of variety in walking on grassland and paths over both flat and hilly territory.
We start our walks with a warm up exercise routine using Nordic poles, and we finish our walks with cool down stretches.
We walk mostly in the Phoenix Park, on Saturday and Monday mornings throughout the year and also on Tuesday evenings from approx. April/May to September.
